The Multi-Function School Activity Bus Explained

You may have heard the term MFSAB while searching for a bus for your school or day care, but what does that term even mean? Is this type of bus really the best option or is there something better out there for your day care or school?

MFSAB stands for Multi-Function School Activity Bus. These buses are designed a lot like the bright yellow school buses you see driving through your town during the school year, but they have some critical differences:
•    Most states don't require them to be yellow. They are often white instead.
•    They do not need the stop sign arms that extend out when the bus comes to a stop.
•    They are not required by law to have traffic control lights like regular school buses.
•    They are designed for use by adults as well as children.

An MFSAB will have the same basic shape and body design as a school bus, which includes the durable steel roll cages and side materials which are safer for side collisions. Yet, they are designed for more than basic transport between a school and residential areas. They can be used by businesses, day care facilities, schools and groups that need transportation for sightseeing, family events or weddings.

This is one of the biggest reasons so many businesses and groups are now choosing MFSABs for their transportation needs. These buses are designed like school buses, which happen to be the safest form of transportation on the road today. Parents trust these buses with their most prized possessions (their kids) and that means they are the safest possible options for your family, friends, colleagues, employees, or children as well.
